Good Steward Financial Company CEO Jasmine Simpson Galloway Invited to Participate in Triad Business Journal’s 10th Annual Bizwomen Mentoring Monday
February 20, 2023, Burlington, NC — Jasmine Simpson Galloway, Founder and CEO of Good Steward Financial Company, LLC, has been invited to participate in the 2023 Bizwomen Mentoring Monday presented by the Triad Business Journal.
The 10th annual Mentoring Monday will take place on February 27, 2023, in Cone Ballroom at Elliott University Center on the campus of UNC-Greensboro. “Join this uplifting community of women empowering other women in programs held in 40 cities across the country from Albany to Honolulu,” says TBJ. “The event will kick off with a video keynote, brought to you by Aprio, from Clara Shih, founder of Hearsay Systems, CEO of Salesforce Service Cloud, and Author of The Facebook Era, followed by rounds of speed coaching.”
Each year, the TBJ brings together some of the Triad’s most influential women leaders for a day filled with meaningful introductions and engaging conversations. The meet and greet offer mentees the chance for one-on-one and group coaching from businesswomen who represent a variety of industries in the Triad.
Galloway is the Founder and CEO of Good Steward Financial Company, LLC, a virtual financial services firm founded in 2018. Since its beginnings, Good Steward has partnered with nonprofits throughout the US to equip them for a sustainable financial future. As a result, Galloway has become a trusted impact partner. Galloway is looking forward to the event. “I’m excited about the opportunity to meet the other female leaders who are participating and the mentees who will be there,” she says. “I’m a strong believer in women’s empowerment, and this platform seems to be a wonderful space for that. I’m also looking forward to going back to UNC-G where it all started for me. It’ll be my first time back there since I graduated from the master’s program in 2012.”
In addition to leading the team at Good Steward, Simpson also leads the local and national nonprofit community. She has served on several nonprofit boards including Healthy Alamance, Family Abuse Services of Alamance County, and A Moment of Magic Foundation. And in June 2021, she founded Good Stewards of Empowerment, a nonprofit dedicated to giving nonviolent offenders a second chance in society.
